Summer Interns - Latinas Arriba

This past year, PREP taught the Cuidate! sexual health curriculum to the Latinas Arriba girls group at Basalt High School.  These young women have been meeting with staff from the school based health clinic once a week during the school year for 3 years now and have become very knowledgeable about their health and how to go after their personal goals.  I am proud to have 3 of them working with me this summer as interns.   Please check out their facebook page!

We are a group of young girls looking to better our future and graduate high school.  We talk about anything.  This group helps young girls know that they are powerful and can succeed in life. 

Latinas Arriba was created to help young ladies know that they can do anything they put their minds to and know that we are united and empowered to create our futures.

This group was created to help girls know that people care about us and want us to be successful in life by helping us know about situations everybody faces as a young adult.
