- Bits and pieces of sexual health information in classes
- youth seeking answers for individual concerns from school staff
- short lectures at school health fairs
- occasional presentations from Planned Parenthood staff.
In Colorado, only 20% of schools (combined middle and high schools) reported that their lead health education teacher received professional development on HIV in the last 2 years. Only 29% received professional development on human sexuality.
